A module that allows to derive two UART interfaces from the I2C interface. The maximum transmission speed is 1 Mb/s, each UART interface has an independent FIFO buffer 256 B for data transmission and reception. A maximum of four modules can be connected to one microcontroller, leading out 8 hardware UART ports.
