Universal 50W 6Ohm CAN BUS LED filter with connectors
- The filter can be plugged into any wiring harness
- It clears the ‘bulb failure’ fault code after fitting LED bulbs in dipped-beam, main-beam and fog lights

In vehicles fitted with sophisticated on-board computers, replacing a standard filament bulb with an LED alternative that draws several times less current may trigger a message on the on-board computer indicating that the bulb has burnt out. The solution is to use a resistor acting as a dummy load to trick the computer.
NOTE:
Please bear in mind that this type of filter heats up to high temperatures (approx. 300°C) during operation. It is best to attach it to metal or aluminium components near the headlamp, from which the resistor can also dissipate heat.
