Audio Dac Shim overlay designed for Raspberry Pi. Based on PCM5100A DAC chip, which takes high quality digital audio from Raspberry Pi and outputs clear 24-bit / 192 kHz linear stereo audio through 3.5mm jack. The overlay uses the I2S bus to communicate with the Raspberry Pi. Product is compatible with all versions of Raspberry Pi equipped with 40 pin GPIO connector. Installation of the overlay does not require soldering, if needed it can be removed from the microcomputer at any time. Audio Dac Shim, due to its small size can be placed in a Raspberry Pi case. The product is a convenient way to add audio output to a Raspberry Pi Zero or Raspberry Pi 400.
