The TL-WA801ND wireless access point is designed to create or expand fast, scalable wireless N networks. It also allows connecting network devices such as game consoles, digital media adapters, printers, or network drives to a wireless network. The access point has many features that simplify the use of network resources. Using the internet for downloading files, games, video streaming, or other applications is now much more convenient. Using the IEEE 802.11n standard, the device supports MIMO (Multi Input Multi Output) technology, enabling the simultaneous use of two antennas for transmitting and receiving data. This reduces signal loss due to long-distance data transmission or physical obstacles encountered by the transmitted signal. This significantly increases the efficiency of the wireless network, even in buildings with concrete or steel construction. Furthermore, unlike 11g solutions, it's possible to create a long-range connection to the wireless network. The access point has several operating modes: Access Point, Client, Multi-SSID, Repeater, and Bridge with Access Point, making it suitable for many wireless data transmission applications. This allows for easy setup of a wireless network in places where it's impossible to install cabling. Using the access point eliminates areas previously without a wireless signal. Thanks to the included passive PoE injector, the TL-WA801ND uses a single network cable for simultaneous data transmission and power supply. This allows the access point to be located up to 30 meters from the Ethernet network. This makes it possible to place the device in locations with the best signal transmission quality (e.g., on a wall, on the ceiling).
