MIX seeria RS485 ja IP (2x Ethernet) I/O-moodulid on mõeldud MAC36, AAC20 või mõne muu kontrolleri abil hajutatud juhtimissüsteemide ehitamiseks. Iga MIX-moodul on varustatud hooneautomaatikas kõige sagedamini kasutatavate I/O-tüüpidega. Sõltuvalt versioonist on seadmel 18 või 38 sisendit ja väljundit, mis on segu kõikidest I/O-tüüpidest ühes seadmes. Kõigil I/O-moodulitel on BTL- ja UL-sertifikaadid.
RS485 ja IP (2x Ethernet) moodulid on tehases varustatud kahe kõige populaarsema avatud kommunikatsiooniprotokolliga: Modbus (ASCII, RTU, TCP/IP) ja BACnet (MSTP, IP), mis valitakse DIP-lülitite abil. Mooduli aadressi määramiseks kasutatakse pöördlüliteid, mis lihtsustab ja kiirendab süsteemi kasutuselevõtu protsessi. Sisseehitatud mini-USB võimaldab seadme algkonfigureerimist ilma välise toiteallikata.
Sisseehitatud Modbus Gateway TCP/IP to Modbus ASCII/RTU võimaldab ühendada täiendavaid mooduleid/seadmeid, mis suhtlevad Modbus RS485 kaudu.
Tänu avatud kommunikatsioonistandardite toetamisele saab MIXi mooduleid paigaldada nii uutesse kui ka juba olemasoleva BMSi osana. See mitmekülgne seade sobib ideaalselt mis tahes BMS-iga.
