VIANO ICE-LED CAR PEST REPELLENT

The device is equipped with a single buzzer, an automatic frequency-changing module and a flashing panel. The wide range of signals emitted ensures effective pest control. Furthermore, the modulation of these signals ensures that animals cannot become accustomed to a constant sound. The system is complemented by a flashing panel consisting of three high-brightness LEDs, which effectively deters pests from getting under the bonnet.

The repeller features an electronic module that switches the device off when the car’s engine is started and automatically switches it back on when the engine is switched off. This feature sets the VIANO® product apart from the competition – repellers from other manufacturers do not offer this functionality. Thanks to its energy-efficient power supply system, the device can operate for up to 5 months on a fully charged battery (there is no risk of the battery running flat during normal use of the car).

Beneath the plastic cap (3) shown in the illustration is a standard fuse, which protects the device against accidental short circuits or power surges. Should the fuse blow, it can be easily replaced.

The device features a highly energy-efficient power supply system. With a fully charged battery and the car left stationary for several weeks (not in use, e.g. whilst parked at an airport), the device will not drain the battery.

The device does not affect dogs or cats (ultrasound emission is outside the effective range)

Safety first:

The device utilises a powerful piezoelectric speaker made of brass, which is further protected by a grille. Piezoelectric speakers made of brass are characterised by their exceptional resistance to conditions prevailing in the engine compartment, such as low and high temperatures and humidity. Speakers of this type are also resistant to accidental splashes of oil or other operating fluids. Ordinary black diaphragm speakers, used in other devices, are structurally prone to damage and may cause short circuits in the system. Furthermore, the absence of grilles in these devices leaves the equipment vulnerable to accidental mechanical damage, which may occur during servicing or repairs to your car.
