Flextail Tiny Sleeping Pad R09 AVS Mummy (Green)
The Flextail Tiny Sleeping Pad R09 AVS Mummy is an ultralight camping mattress designed for camping in very low temperatures. Its R-Value of 9.4 provides high protection against heat loss from the ground, making it suitable even for winter expeditions and sleeping on snow. The multi-layered construction with a double layer of aluminum reduces heat loss and helps maintain thermal comfort throughout the night.
Integrated AVS pump – quick inflation and deflation
The mattress is equipped with an integrated AVS system featuring a compact pump that allows for automatic inflation in about 60 seconds. The same module can be flipped to quickly deflate the mattress when packing it up. This solution eliminates the need for an external pump or manual inflation, making it easier to set up your sleeping area in the field.
Lightweight and high thermal efficiency
The tapered mummy-style profile limits the mattress’s surface area to the region that actually supports the body, reducing weight and packed volume. This geometry also improves insulation efficiency by minimizing spaces where cold air could accumulate.
Sleeping comfort and stable support
The chambered structure with numerous support points evenly distributes body pressure and minimizes sagging. The mattress is approximately 9 cm thick when inflated, effectively insulating against uneven ground and improving sleeping comfort.
Lightweight and compact
The mattress weighs approximately 499 g with the pump, making it one of the lightest winter mattresses with insulation in this class. When folded, it takes up little space and fits into a carrying case, making it easy to pack in a backpack.
Durable construction for outdoor use
The product is made of materials resistant to stretching and low temperatures, designed for intensive outdoor use. The stable chamber structure prevents the layers from shifting and the mattress from losing its shape under pressure. The set includes repair patches, allowing for quick repair of any damage in the field.
