A parking assistant is a device designed to aid parking and reversing. A versatile and tried-and-tested device for those who value road safety. The device is simple and functional, and activates automatically. Thanks to its ultrasonic sensors, you’ll never hit any object with your car again. When reversing or parking, the device accurately detects obstacles in the path and alerts the driver with an audible signal (proportional to the distance from the obstacle); information is also shown on the display if the unit is fitted with one.

The kit includes sensors that can be positioned in any configuration at the front or rear of the car, thereby enhancing safety in your vehicle.

The sensors are activated automatically when reverse gear is engaged (for the rear sensors) or when the brake pedal is pressed (for the front sensors). The control unit is factory-calibrated.

The front sensors are activated by pressing the brake pedal (when the brake lights come on). Once the brake pedal has been pressed and released, the sensors remain active for 15 seconds. The system will activate if an obstacle is detected within 80 cm of the vehicle.

Detection of an obstacle is signalled by a distance reading, a graphical display and, additionally, an audible alert via the built-in speaker.

The kit is fitted with high-quality flat-flange sensors.

The sensors are completely waterproof. They are also resistant to weather conditions such as snow, rain and fog.

If necessary, the sensors can be painted with 1–2 coats of paint (to be done by the user).

The kit contains all the necessary fitting components: a drill bit with a hole saw, cabling such as the power cable and sensor leads, as well as a power supply unit, sensors and a display or buzzer, depending on the kit. Thanks to the intuitive installation process and the mounting components, you can fit the parking assistance system yourself quickly and easily.

This is a universal product that fits most cars; we also stock extension cables for vans should the wiring in the kit prove to be too short.
